so recently, and by recent i mean christmas, a friend of mine got her first gucci purse. and what a lovely purse it was. admired from a far, i did, as i had thought the purse was a little small for me. with my track record, i've been known to get ginormous totes that can fit little orphan children, a picnic for four, and my ipod all at the same time. in the past i 've admired gucci for its simplicity and all the while fancy logo print. i mean come on, it screams "fashionistas unite!"
on a past trip to italy, i managed to hit the gucci outlet in tuscany and got some fabulous scores including a red pair of wingtips and a fabulous saffiano-type leather wallet, but no fabulous bag. after seeing my girl's purse, i thought, it was time to jump on my lotus feet and search for my ideal gucci bag. if she could have one, why couldn't i?
to be honest, these bound feet do have a tendency to get in the way of my purchasing habits! because my royal servants have a difficult time carrying me from LV to gucci all the time, i'm restricted to shopping online.well one day as i was perusing one of my favorite shopping sites, i did manage to find a beautiful duffle from gucci circa spring 2006 line. having seen this a couple of times from my lucky outings to the gucci store, i was in love with this bag, not to mention the price tag. it was just my size, not small at all. in fact huge! just the way papa likes it. i mean i could transfer all my little orphans, the picnic for four, my ipod and now a pair of sunglasses in this thing. and hence began my rekindled love affair with gucci.
just a side note though; gucci will never be LV! (LV's in a higher class lol)

To be honest with you, I like the smaller messenger bag than the duffel bag but then again, I'm not carrying around orphans with me all the time. I feel the same way towards LV that I did with Diesel...they have impressive stuff but it's not for the person that wants to buy something unique that you don't see all over the place. That's my two cents.
