i love when i'm walking down the street and see someone with a gorgeous bag. it doesn't necessarily mean the bag has to be designer ( but it's usually the case), but bags and shoes are normally the first thing i notice about the person (outside of if they are tall, hot and gorgeous). ok, sorry getting back to bags... its funny how the trend nowadays is to concentrate on the current "it" bag. whether it was the prada nylon bags in the late 90's, the dior saddle bag in the early 2000's, marc jacobs last year, or the chloe paddington bag, there has always been a long list of designer and adopters to fill that trend. it's the usual suspects like LV, Gucci, Balenciaga, YSL, Prada etc..
what pains me is when women try to pass off the lowest line in the collection of designer goods and transform them into purses. what do you think i'm referring to?this little thing. it's called the LV pochette accessoires. i'm confused that i see women carry this around their arms, using it as the designer "it" bag. i have a friend and um we'll just call her, "Keirdre" (yeah because no one will guess what her real name is) is notorious for this awfulness. this is by far not an it bag. this is by far not even a bag. in fact reader, it is a make up case and as described at eLUXURY is meant as an accessories case that links in fact to the real LV purse. so where the confusion comes is how someone decided to throw that strap around their arm, link it to the other side, and now call it a purse?
i understand that designer handbags are super-luxe and cost almost a small malawi child, so i can relate that a teenage girl might use this as their first step into the world of high fashion goods. what i cannot relate to is some 30 something year old owning this and deciding to pass this off as a purse! come on sister, fork over some extra dough and buy yourself a 30 something year old bag. yeh, yeh and i know some of you will say , oh my arms hurts, the bag is too heavy blah blah. it still won't change my mind you're carrying around a make-up case and trying to pass it off as a "faux-purse."
$285, Louis Vuitton Pochette Accessoires available at eLUXURY. But please ladies, buy this to insert in your purse instead of using it as a purse.
