watch my ridiculous obsessions grow

aside from the constant bag and shoe purchases, i am addicted to watches. for a while now, i've been thinking about getting a nice watch. what does a watch say about it's owner? to me owning a cartier would say "i'm a more modern fashionable person," while owning a rolex would say, "he's more of a classic stylist." i decided, if i were to get a watch that spoke about me, i would get a rolex.

the folks at rolex have redesigned the classic. the entry level perpetual date (haha i laugh because entry level in this case means a cool $4950) has been redesigned with a smoother, more rounded Oyster case; a solid Oyster bracelet; a selection of new dials with larger and brighter indices; and an ergonomically ideal balance between case, bracelet and clasp. each obsession brings tears of joy to my face and tears of pain from my wallet.
