Design on a dime frame

This past weekend I set out to visit Candlestick Antiques fair, a new fair in SF.  It's always a happy experience to roam through other's peoples antiques, hoping to find a treasure among them.  I was
lucky enough to find this beautiful frame



Inspired by My Brother's Frame Black - Harry Allen, I decided to switch it up as a cheaper alternative to the real thing. First, I needed to remove the stained canvas inner board in the frame.



Then with a magical can of spray Satin Black spray paint from Valspar I ended up with



Not bad I think for a $25 fair find and a $4 can of spray paint!
